First, Georgian Water and Power Ltd. would like to apologize to that part of residents of Isani-Samgori distric,t which, due to complex emergency damage on the water supply network, has no water up to now.
At this moment, the company’s technical crews and special equipment are mobilized near Avlabari underground station. Emergency damage liquidation works are in intensive progress. The company shall do its best to restore water supply to the population in the shortest possible period.
D=600 mm main network, passing near underground crossing not far from Avlabari underground station was damaged in Isani district. Prolongation of technical works, on the one hand, was caused by the fact that the damage turned out to be hidden and diagnostic works took certain time. And, on the other hand, it was also caused by the circumstances which did not allow the company to carry out emergency works during daytime and our specialists were to work at night.
Until restoration of water supply, Georgian Water and Power Ltd. shall provide the population with water with the help of tank lorries. The information on movement of tank lorries can be obtained from the company Hot Line and facebook page.
