22/01/2016 Companies of Georgian Water and Power, Rustavi Water and Mtskheta Water warn the metered residential customers against the likelihood of frost
The customers of Tbilisi, Rustavi and Mtskheta, in order to prevent freezing of water supply system and metering points in winter, especially during a couple of days starting from 25 January of the current year, are required to take into consideration the following recommendations and instructions:
it is desirable that the residential customers using the meters make coldproof the water supply networks and metering points installed on the surface or in open space. It is also recommended to leave the taps opened with just small water spray;
GWP, RWC and MWC, upon the request of each customer, will adjust the excessively billed cost of water for the above-mentioned days.
The population of upper zones of Tbilisi and those customers, who are exposed to the likelihood of the service lines’ freezing are asked to necessarily take into account the company’s recommendations.
