23/09/2009 Georgian Water and Power Donated Special Machinery to Chkondidi Eparchy
Georgian water and Power donated a special machinery “MMZ Belarus” excavator to Chkondidi Eparchy of Georgian Patriarchate.
The Chkondidi Eparchy will use the special machinery during the construction of monastery complexes. At present the construction works of Salkhino monastery named after the Mother of God of the eparchy are going on.
The donated machinery will be a great help for Chkondidi Eparchy during the construction of access roads to the monasteries of the mountainous region and in the period of snowfalls.
