“Georgian Water and Power” company offers the Tbilisi resident customers an updated official website – presentation of the new website took place today at Radisson Blue Iveria.
The company's trilingual new website http://www.georgianwater.com/ was successfully tested and is ready to render multi-faceted services to the residents of Tbilisi. As head of PR service of "Georgian Water and Power" company Tinatin Makaridze pointed out at the presentation the company's website is modernized, fully adapted to modern requirements and customized to the customer needs. According to her the constantly updated website is adapted to any type of technical device that has access to the Internet and at the same time the new version has streamlined search system, which enables to easily obtain the company-related information and secures the website’s direct connection to the company's official Facebook page.
The presentation focused on the innovations of the company offered via website to the residents of Tbilisi. All the new products introduced in order to improve the services will save time for all citizens and help to solve problems from their homes.
It is important that the new website of “Georgian Water and Power”’ makes it possible to have relationship with customers in an interactive mode. According to Tinatin Makaridze any interested resident of Tbilisi can visit the company's online chat from 9 am to 12 pm and discuss the problems related to water supply and other services with the online chat operators.
The updated website provides access to mygwp.ge web portal to the metered customers of "Georgian Water and Power" so that they can record the meter reading in online mode. Such service can be utilized only by the customers who have signed corresponding agreements and receive from the company individual passwords by SMS on cell phone number, on a monthly basis. Tinatin Makaridze noted, this type of service makes more comfortable relationship with the company, as the meter reading sent by the customer is automatically reflected in the company's billing system and the corresponding bill. As a result, customers pay water-bills according to the meter reading, while the company's representative takes meter reading on a quarterly basis by house calls.
The updated website will also help the residents of Tbilisi who wish to receive detailed information on the limited and resumed water supply by SMS notifications. Tinatin Makaridze said that the company makes this free service available to any customer who performs simple procedure of registration on the website. At present, about 110, 000 customers of "Georgian Water and Power" receive by cell phones timely information on water supply limitation and resumption.
