12/08/2016 Georgian Water and Power Company weekly report to the population
On July 25 Georgian Water and Power Companystarted internship program in 8 directions of water supply field for the candidates selected as a result of the employment forum.
Human Capital Development Department has selected for training 30 participants and distributed them among the mentors of different departments in accordance with their positions. The internship program is intended for 45 days. Successful participants will have the prospect for employment at Georgian Water and Power.
The work to put in operation new hydropower plant of GWP has reached its active stage. The installation of high-voltage systems, generators and control devices has been completed by this time.
This week, the company continues the rehabilitation works in the various districts of Tbilisi:
rehabilitation of 600-meter water supply network has started in Chargali Street of Nadzaladevi district;
Rehabilitation started in Kutaisi street of Didube district as well. 1000-meter section of water supply and 200-meter long section of sewage networks will be replaced.
The rehabilitation works are going on in Ponichala of Krtsanisi district to change water supply and sewage networks, a total of 1100 meters in length.
650-meter section of water supply network and 200-meter section of sewage network are being replaced in the first Godziashvili lane of Saburtalo district
Georgian Water and Power Companywill perform rehabilitation works in 140 streets of Tbilisi during 2016 year to replace more than 100 km of networks.
